Waterscapes
Water is an endlessly fascinating mystery. The source of all life is in constant flux. The challenge is to capture the essence of it's movement, it's moods, it's depth. I often use vellum (architect's tracing paper) which both holds and repells highly diluted oil paint. Unlike my other work these pieces are largely the result of elimination rather than the addition of more paint.
